This Saturday marks the opening of the bass fishing season here in my neck of the woods. and here bass means smallmouth bass. Don't get me wrong, I like all the lesser members of the bass family too. I just happen to love smallies! They are not the biggest of the bass, but pound for pound they are the best fighters. Bring it on!
